"ReVisit" - FURNITURE DESIGN HISTORY

The Bad Tempered Chair was designed by Ron Arad. It is a remake of the Well Tampered chair which was made from sheet metal. The Bad Tempered chair has been manufactured from a newly formulated plastic which consists of glass, carbon, kevlar fibre steeped in a special resin. This plastic is manufactured in sheets which are then lazer cut and folded into desired shape. They are assembled by screwing each part together with nuts and bolts.
